Enfocus
All too often, a task is too big.
"Climb Mt. Everest" or "Get college degree" sure are easy to write down, but the steps to accomplish those feats are many, and highly uncertain.
The Enfocus trait helps you factor in uncertainty.
The Enfocus trait has two values: Time Investment and Clarity.
- Time investment: How much relative time will this take you to do?
- Clarity: Are the steps to do this task clear? Does it require more research, or is it just an idea?
By setting these values, Focus can be adjusted:
Focus
Enfocus does not add or remove a task from Focus.
Instead, the task's text in Focus will be blurred proportionally with respect to its vagueness.
Adding subtasks makes the enfocused task more actionable, bringing it back into focus, and reducing the blur.
Additionally, its Time Investment and Clarity values feed the Due trait's schedule health calculation for the parent task.
Visuals
In Focus, a row will be blurred proportionally with its vagueness.
